Is posting a question free?
Yes. Posting a question and receiving offers is free. You only pay when you accept an offer.
How does escrow work?
When you accept an offer, the price is charged to your Gotgrade wallet and held in escrow. The tutor receives their share only after you release the payment, or after an admin resolves a dispute in their favour.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Open your dashboard, go to Wallet & Deposit and choose an amount. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Can I get a refund?
If the work is not delivered or does not match what was agreed, open a dispute from the Study Room before releasing payment. An admin reviews the case and can refund the full amount to your wallet. See the Refund Policy for details.
What if I need changes to the delivered work?
Use "Request revision" in the Study Room and explain what needs to change in the chat. The tutor can then deliver an updated version.
Can I ask a specific tutor?
Yes. Choose "Private / Invite only" when posting, or click "Ask privately" on a tutor's profile. Only that tutor can see the question and send an offer.
How do tutors get approved?
Tutors sign up with their qualifications and an admin reviews every application before the tutor can send offers.
How much do tutors earn?
Tutors receive 75% of the accepted price. The remaining 25% is the platform fee.
How do tutors withdraw earnings?
From the tutor dashboard, request a withdrawal to PayPal, Payoneer or a bank account. Our finance team reviews and sends the payout, and you get a notification when it is paid.
Who can see my files and chat?
Only you, the tutor you hired and Gotgrade admins (for dispute mediation). Question attachments on public questions can be downloaded by approved tutors so they can prepare an offer.
